Helloooooooooooo shellooooo am serving a dollop of TPR2 this week – esp as its ANNIEKIN Skywalkers birthday! YAYYYYYY!! hope you enjoy do read and comment! Love to read what you liked and what you didnt. Where angels fear to tread, loved ones rush in……
This week our Shernie is not one to sit back and watch events unfold! She is determined to save the day and esp Maan ;))) Buahahahhahaha!
Geet sighed again just stopping herself from fidgeting, there was no way she could toss and turn. Maan was sleeping so soundly. Pulling a face she stared at him long and hard, how could he sleep like this when Singhania was after him and then had to smile.
Lying face down his arm thrown over her in a gesture that screamed of possessiveness and protectiveness he looked at peace at having her tucked up against him. That and he had just expended so much energy in showing her how much he loved her, he definitely needed his rest. But his thorough loving had just made her brain go into overdrive at the thought of her Maan in danger, her ‘what if’ came to the forefront and she couldn’t help replaying all the events of the afternoon again and again in her mind.
Maan’s slip earlier that Singhania must be getting desperate to blow his cover and show himself in the mall had her worried. She knew Singhania wouldn’t stop until he exacted his revenge on Maan through her or otherwise. What could she do to protect him? Agent Gupta was there she knew but there must be something she could do? She was not going to sit back and hope nothing happened to him. Racking her brains she tried to think of a plan that would sort out Singhanias matter once and for all as she absently trailed a gentle hand down his arm that lay heavily across her chest.
“Hmmm…Mishty cant sleep?” Dark fringed eyes opened sleepily and fixed themselves on her. “You are not still worried are you? About Singhania?”
Geet smiled what she hoped was a reassuring smile and shook her head to say no. Her worrying thoughts and any action she was going to take she would keep to herself.
“Then….” his head came up and he stared at her with a frown. “You’re still not thinking about Agent Gupta are you….I told you…”
“Shhhhhhh….” Distracting from wheedling the truth out of her she slid herself against him. “No I am not worrying about anything…I..just couldn’t sleep.”
Reaching out she traced his bow shaped lips.
Pushing him on his back she came over him letting her hands frame his face. Her eyes deep amber pools of emotion she whispered, “I love you….” before she took his lips in a kiss.
Then she set about showing him how much, using every thing she had learned from him and a few things that she knew drove him wild, until he hissed out a curse and they tumbled into the intense abyss of pleasure together.
As she fell into a deep sleep her foggy brain decided she had to find a way to end this once and for all. He was everything and more to her.
The next morning had them both running to get ready having overslept after such an eventful day and exhausting night.
“Githhhhh! I am so late!” Maan turned annoyed dark eyes on her as he fumbled with the knot of his tie. “What is with this thing this morning? I have a meeting with a new client and haven’t prepared anything yet.”
“Chaddo!” She pushed his hands out of the way and fixed the knot. “It wasn’t my fault you overslept.”
A grin broke out on his face. “Oh yes it was…….his eyes full of instant heat. I blame you totally for that…..”
“Blame!” Her eyes flashed angrily at him as he slipped his arms around her and pulled her close.
“And I don’t mind over sleeping…if you do that every night…” he grinned dropping a hard kiss on her lips as she struggled in his hold.
A furious blush broke out on her face at his mention of how wild she was last night.
Tweaking her nose he whispered, “ I love you! I will see you later Mrs Geet Maan Singh Khurana…” with that he ran out of the room leaving her to get ready.
Grinning to herself she quickly pulled on a azure blue kurti and jeans and grabbed her bag, searching it to make sure she had her keys and phone. To her surprise she found that she had two phones. The one that she had left behind in the office, which Maan had brought home and one that wasn’t hers.
“Baabaji!” Her eyes widened. This phone belonged to one of the goons that had been following her. What was his name…Mohan, yes she had heard the other man calling him that. She remembered that she borrowed it from him to make a call, and then when she realised who they were she had whacked them both with her bag. It must have dropped into her bag from his hand when she whacked him, and in all the chaos she just hadn’t realised that had happened. Her hand shook, with a deep breath she turned it on.
“Stop it Geet its just a phone not Singhania! Pull yourself together!”
It came on instantly, she skipped through the recent calls, the last being Mohan’s call to a ‘boss.’ Boss? Her eyes widened with understanding, the last call he had made was to call Singhania, to tell him they had her.
She had Singhania’s number! Jumping with fright she let go of the phone as if it were Singhania himself but thankfully caught it in time before it clattered to the floor and broke. Staring at Singhania’s number thoughts ran through her head. A loose plan of sorts formed in her mind, and a glimmer of determination came over her face. She would do this! And Maan wouldn’t have to be anywhere near Singhania for it to work. She would call Singhania to meet and then………what then though?
Pacing the floor she muttered, “what then……”
“What then, what didi?” Babli asked from the door as she watched her sister pace about staring at the phone in her hand.
Geet nearly dropped the phone having been caught. “Errr Babli nothing…” her face was flushed.
Babli’s eyes fell on the phone and she read the name Singhania before Geet turned it off and slipped it into her pocket.
“Is that the time? Chalo Babli you are going to be late for school!” Babli dutifully followed her didi out of her room and downstairs her brain working overtime wondering what significance the name Singhania held that her didi was equally scared and flustered at having been caught with the phone that had his number on it.
“Didi are you in trouble?”
“Babli no of-course not! Wh..what gave you that idea?” Geet gently hugged her as saw the worried expression on Babli’s face, whilst noticing that Nakul was putting huge slices of chocolate cake in both the children’s dabbas and Chotu was grinning from ear to ear.
“Whaaaat Geet madam?” He blushed, closing the dabbas quickly and putting them into the school bags winking at Chotu.
She let it go, especially as Babli still didn’t look convinced about what she had said.
“Chalo baacho lets go otherwise we are going to be really late.”
All the way to the office she thought about what she could do with the phone. Obviously she could contact Singhania and arrange to meet…but then what. Would she be able to trick him into getting himself caught by the police. She didn’t think so. Perhaps she could meet him and make a deal that would save Maan from further danger. What kind of deal could she make? The only thing she could think Singhania would want would be money, especially now he had lost a lot of what he had before. But would money be enough for him to leave Maan alone? She wasn’t sure. But money was all that she could really offer in a deal, she didn’t have any other bargaining tool. And how much money would it take? He could demand Corors! There would be no way she could pay him off Corors. Once she got to the office she would check how much she had in her personal account and the one Maan had set up for her after they got married which she hadn’t even bothered to check, then she would have a better idea what she could bargain with.
As she entered the Khurana offices she spied Maan coming out of his office, their eyes met and he smiled that crooked smile that melted her heart. There and then she decided she would have to go through with it, it was the only thing that would put an end to this saga once and for all.
