Chotu gets mad!
Helloooooooooo sundae Sunday is here again ;)) Story is moving forward, Singhania and his men ko chicken allergy ho gaye ;)) And CC ke jaldi pittae honewalli hai ;)) have fun enjoy, excuse the mistakes. Do comment I love to read them, tell me what you like and what you WOULD likeand I will try my best to accommodate you all ;))))
“You stupid idiots!” Singhania bellowed down the phone at his men. “You said it would be easy to kidnap Geet from there? Just three women on their own, no Maan Singh Khurana!”
“B….But boss those three women were dangerous! And the African aunty had some trained Ninja chickens!”
“Trained Ninja chickens?” Singhania glared at the phone. “Kameena Mohan, tou bhaang peeke mujhe phone kaarta hai!”
“Nahhh Sir! I am telling you the truth. The African aunty uses chickens as guard dogs! I tell you boss they are vicious! I am pecked all over cant even sit down properly! I can never look at murgi ka dish ever again!”
Singhania was speechless for a moment. What the hell! He rubbed his forehead with frustration. This coming back, kidnapping Geet, scaring them both with the pictures was meant to go so smoothly. And who was this African aunty?
“Mohan I dont care if you never eat chicken again! Kaam ke baat karo. Who the hell are you talking about? There is no African aunty in their family?”
“No no…sir this is some aunties house Geet went to, seems to be a fortune reader of some sort. She wears very bright African type kaftans.”
“Ullu ke paathe what stories are you making up?” Singhania poured himself a large measure of McCoys single malt. Really why was his fate to get only idiots as employees.
“I am not making it up sir, no not all sir, ask Ramu. Ramu here you tell the boss what happened.”
Ramu repeated the story to Singhania who still couldn’t get his head round it. Finally he gave up. “Fine! So you idiots missed your chance to get Geet there. Now we will have to think of another plan come back here and I will tell you what you need to do.” With a sigh of resignation at his fate , Singhania took a god swallow of the whisky and sat back down in his chair. He had to think of something really spectacular.
Somewhere across town at Chotu and Babli’s school..
CC stared at Babli sitting a desk away. She was answering all the questions on the test paper with such ease. Not fair! He thought, she is going to get top marks again. He had to do something to distract her.
“Babli!” He whispered, “I am going to get you and your brother! You just wait and see.”
“QUIET!” The teacher glared at CC. Such a disruptive boy he was.
Babli turned her head and looked CC. She was not going to let this boy worry her. He was sitting not even writing anything on his test paper sheet. Shaking her head she went back to her writing.
CC started throwing scrunched up papers at her when the teacher was looking the other way.
Babli ignored him and finished her paper. “Miss!” She held up her test offering it to the teacher.
“Damn!” Muttered CC. I am going to teach her a lesson she wont forget. As soon as the bell went he pushed past the others and gave Babli such a push he made her fall over from her chair.
“OUCH!” Babli moaned as she landed hard on her elbow.
“CC! Did you just push Babli?” The teacher questioned as she walked towards Babli to help her up.
“No miss not me.” CC looked at the teacher with such an innocent face, and as the teacher hadn’t seen the incident she had to give him the benefit of the doubt.
“Babli are you OK?”
Tears of pain ran down her face as Babli rubbed her elbow. It was hurting quite badly. The teacher helped her to the medical room.
“Babli I think we should call your parents. We need to get this X rayed. There might be a fracture as you landed quite badly on you elbow on the concrete floor.”
“Oh do we have to? Didi will be so worried she will panic.”
The teacher smiled at Babli gently placing a hand on her shoulder, she was hurt and yet thinking about her sisters worry, what a different child she was from CC. “Babli dont worry. Everything will be ok. Now tell me did CC push you over?”
She didn’t want to snitch. She opted for a safer option. “Maybe he didn’t mean it.”
The teacher looked at her and smiled. She really liked Babli, since she had started she worked hard and was mature and well adjusted pupil. CC she knew was rotten and spoilt but the Head was friends with his dad so he got away with most things.
The teacher dialled Babli’s home number.
“Err Savitridevi, is Geet maam there? I am calling from the school.”
“No Geet is at the office. Anything I can help you with? “
“Babli has hurt her arm quite badly, we are taking her to Leevati to get X-rays done. Please can you contact Geet maam and tell her to come to the hospital.”
“I am Babli’s grandmother, I will come straight away.” Savitridevi took down the details and rushed to get ready.
“Nakul! Nakul get the driver to come round. Babli is hurt and I am going to the hospital.”
“Hurt! Ms Babli?” Nakul jumped up in an agitated state from one foot to the other, his face dropped.” Is Chotu OK?”
“Yes as far as I know. Call the office whilst I go and get changed and tell Geet to meet us at the hospital.”
Nakul rang the office in his agitated state. “Geet madam, I want Geet Madam.”
“Sir, Geet maam is not in.”
“Then Maan baba,” Nakul requested.
“Maan Singh Khurana.”
“Chota saab chota saab, Babli’s school called she is hurt and they are taking her to Maalavati hospital.”
“Maalavati?” Maan frowned where was that. Then he twigged, “Nakul you mean Leelavati?”
“Haan yes yes. Daadima is going there now please send Geet maam.”
“Fine.” A worried Maan replaced the receiver and went to find Geet.
Back at the school……
Chotu ran into the medical room as soon as one of his friends told him.
“Didi!” His little face looked so worried. Babli was sitting on a chair waiting for her teacher to arrange transport to the hospital.
“Chotu I’m fine. Please don’t worry.”
Chotu stared at Babli’s writing arm now in a sling. “CC?” He glared ferociously. “Didi tell me was it CC?”
Looking at the anger on Chotu’s face Babli didn’t say anything. She didn’t want him to do anything rash out of anger.
“I knew it Chotu declared! You just wait I am so going to thrash the daylights out him.”
“Chotu you will do no such thing. You are half his size!”
“So! I can teach him a lesson. I have been watching jiju when he trains.”
“What?” Babli groaned, “No Chotu don’t you dare.”
Just then the teacher came back to get Babli.
“Promise me you wont do anything mad.” Babli whispered as the teacher grabbed her bag and keys.
Folding his arms in front of him just like his jiju, Chotu didn’t say a word. He didn’t want to lie to Babli but this time he was going to thrash CC.
Her eyes pleading with Chotu , Babli left with the teacher. Chotu watched her go and as soon as she left, he pulled out a piece of paper from his notepad and scribbled a message to CC.
Next to the bike sheds. Come if you dare.
At the hospital…………
“Babli!” Geet ran in, Maan following right behind her. They arrived ahead of daadima who had got stuck in traffic.
“Didi I am fine.”
“Yes maam, thankfully there is no fracture. Its just badly bruised and swollen.” Said her teacher who had been sitting next to Babli.
“How did it happen Babli?” Geet questioned with worried eyes.
“Err… I fell off my chair in class. Thank goodness I finished the test first.” she said.
“Fell off your chair?” Maan looked at Babli , there was something she wasn’t saying.
“Err maam can you come and sign the paperwork please.”
Geet looked at Babli a worried frown on her face, she didn’t want to leave her just yet.
“Geet, its fine, you go I will be here with Babli.”
Reluctantly Geet went off with the teacher and nurse, to sort out the paperwork.
“Now Babli tell me the truth…hmmmm.” Maan fondly ran a hand over her head.
“Jiju…..” Babli hesitated.
“Babli there is no need to be afraid is there?” Why did Babli look so worried?
“There is this boy at school, you met him. CC didi’s work colleagues son.”
“Saxena?” Maan’s face darkened. Yes he remembered the spoilt chubby boy and of-course his father was a first class idiot.
“Well..he has been bullying me.”
“Babli why did nt you say anything?”
“I didn’t want you or Geet didi to worry. We just stared in this new school and I know how much you want us to go there, and how much you both want us to do well.”
“But Babli, that is all well and good, but if someone is bullying you we need to know. “
“I didn’t want didi or you to worry about us. I know you there are some bad people after her again and you are worried about her.” Babli said her eyes filling with tears.
“Babli!” Maan groaned, Babli was so like Geet. “First of all, I want to know anything and everything that is troubling you or Chotu. You are my family now, you know that don’t you. If you don’t want to worry your didi that’s fine but you can always come to me, any time. Promise me from now on you will do that. And as for the bad people I have a some very clever detectives working on the problem so your Geet didi is quite safe from harm.”
Babli nodded her tears cascading down her cheeks. “Jiju please can you go to the school. I think Chotu is going to try and get CC back after school for what he did to me. He says he has been watching you train and will beat CC to a pulp! But he is so little, half CC’s size.”
Chotu was going to beat up CC! Coming here and joining this school had definitely turned Chotu from a baby to a young man? Maan had to admire Chotu’s bravery, glancing at his watch he knew he didn’t have much time to get to school before it ended.
“Babli don’t worry I will go and get Chotu and stop him from doing anything silly, you don’t need to tell Geet about it otherwise Chotu will get a real telling off from her. Now let me get there before Chotu gives CC a thrashing..which he probably deserves.” He said with a smile. “Now you rest.” He instructed just as daadima and Geet walked back in.
“Maan, where are you going?”
“Er something urgent has come up I have to run. Daadima, Geet, I will see you at home. And its on the way to their school so don’t worry I will pick up Chotu.” he said running out the door.
Geet and daadima stared at his vanishing back with astonishment, but Babli was smiling from ear to ear for the first time that morning.
