TPR2 chap 12- Chotu gets mad!

Hello Sunday Sundae is here again, this week has been so busy, end of year and all that, so TPR is short, moan kaarna I like it ;))) Buahahaaaaaaaaa. The story moves a tad forward, but still misunderstandings as usual ;)) Forgive the mistakes and I hope u enjoy this bite size sundae and do comment love to read them ;))
Chapter 12 – Chotu gets mad!
“Chotu come quick your didi is crying!”

“What!” Babli never cried unless it was really really serious. Anxious, he ran fast as his legs would let him. Huffing and puffing he reached her, she definitely looked as if she had been crying.
Babli was sitting on a bench across the playground with another girl from her class, who was offering her food from her own tiffin.

“Babli please eat, share mine, I have plenty of rotis, look mum has packed lots of sabji as well.”

“No , I am fine Jasmin you eat your own lunch.”

“Didi! What’s wrong?”

Babli looked up and saw him and paled. “Chotu what are you doing here? Why aren’t you playing with your friends?”

“Uff! Didi WHY are you crying?”

“I am not crying.”

“But you were and you NEVER cry unless its really bad! Even when we were kidnapped you didn’t cry!”

“That CC….” the other girl said only to be elbowed in the arm by Babli.

“I am not crying, I am fine go and play with your friends Chotu. Really its nothing.” Babli smiled gently at him.

“I don’t believe you!” Chotu folded his arms and stood in front of her not moving an inch. He looked at the other girl, “what happened to my didi?”

Before the other girl could open her mouth Babli stood up and gently took Chotu by the shoulder, “Look Chotu nothing is wrong, go along and have your lunch your friends are waiting for you.” She saw them all hanging around shuffling their feet across the playground. Chotu had been an instant hit with them all.

But Chotu wasn’t satisfied. He stared at the other girl, why had she been offering Babli food from her tiffin? “Didi where is your bag? Where is your lunch?”

“I…left it in the class, I will go and get it in a minute you go along and play.”

He looked at her suspiciously and then at her friend who was shaking her head at him behind Babli. “I don’t believe that, Didi where is your lunch?”

“Oy Chotu I think this was it!” A voice said from behind him, Chotu turned to see, CC stood there with Babli’s bag in one hand and Babli’s open lunch box in another. CC was smiling and eating from Babli’s lunch with obvious enjoyment.

A fierce scowl came over his face, “You give that back to my sister right now!”

“Oh yeah what are you going to do about it if I don’t?” CC declared. Popping the last puri into his mouth.

Chotu went up to him and punched him right in the nose. “This!” Snatching Babli’s bag and lunch box he handed them back to Bali.

“And If you ever hurt my sister again I am going to break it!”

His mouth full of food, CC stared at him total shock, his friends were all sneering at him for letting a small boy like Chotu hit him. “I am going to get you back for this just you wait! My dad will hear about this.” he said as he ran off crying.

“Chotu! Hitting people is not the answer!” Babli moaned, “now you will get into trouble with the school.”

“He deserved it!” Said her friend Jasmin. “That CC is a real bully, he bullies everyone!”

Babli glared at Chotu. “But you shouldn’t have hit him.”

“Well I am not saying sorry. He made you cry. Huh!” Scowling ferociously he went off back to his friends.

Babli stared after him with a frown, Chotu was the most stubborn of children. She knew this was not going to end here. CC would make sure of that. She wondered if she should tell Geet didi, or Jiju.

Back at the office………..

“Have you no sense? Githhhhhhhhhhh, stop!”Maan followed her into her office, shutting the door behind him. Red mist clouding his brain.

Eyes flashing she rounded on him. What the hell did he mean? “Maan stop interfering in my work!”

Taking a deep breath, he stood glaring at her for a moment. His temper was fraying. “Geet you cant see the connection but I can. Saxena is a ….”

“It quite clear Maan to me that you are just plain old fashioned jealous.” She picked up her bag and stared stuffing folders into it. “Let me make this clear. I am doing this job because its just ANOTHER job, he is paying very good money. I have no personal interest in Saxena. You don’t need to be jealous.”

A growl burst from him, he couldn’t deny he was jealous, any man who came near her made him want to beat them to a pulp, but this was more than that. There was someone following her, and Dan had allied himself with Saxena. He was sure they would get Geet tangled up in something that would endanger her.

“Listen to me, its not that…”

She raised her brow at him, questioning the truth of that statement.

Acknowledging her knowing look he had to admit. “Ok yes it is that…”

“I knew it”! A dazzling smile broke out on her face, she loved the fact that he was so insanely jealous of anyone hanging around her. She walked over to him and placing a gentle hand on his cheek she reached up on tiptoe and kissed him full on the mouth.

With a muttered groan he gathered her up against him and kissed her back with passion. God he loved her …he couldn’t bear to think she was in any danger.

A moan broke from her at the unexpected heat in his kiss, “Maan…oh!”

“Mishty…”

The door opened behind him and they broke apart both of them flushed and breathing heavily.

“Huhh! Oh so s…ssorryyyy…”Adi mumbled completely embarrassed turning around to high tail it out of there.

“Adi what do you want?” Growled Maan, he really needed to tell her about Dan and Saxena, but he just kept getting interrupted.

“S…soorryy sirr..but M..ajor Saab is on the phone. He wants to talk to you quickly, he is just about to board a flight.”

“Damn! Today is just impossible!” He walked over to the phone and picked up the receiver.

“Line one..” Adi stated.

“I am so late! I got to go..!”Geet quickly mouthed and ran out of her office leaving Maan glaring at her back. Tonight he was going to pin her to the bed and make her listen.

“Major Saab, thank you for dealing with this.”

“Maan, don’t worry, I have it under control I am sending two of my best men to oversea security for Geet. I have had a man trace that number plate…..something is puzzling about this…I thought that cell was dead…disbanded at that time.” Major Saab mumbled to himself.

“What do you mean cell?”

“Errr nothing..nothing at the moment, let me get the facts right first, rest assured we will get to the bottom of it.”

Maan’s brow pleated with worry. “Thank you Major Saab, its good to know you are working on it, makes me feel a whole lot safer for Geet.”

“Arrey Maan, you both are special to me. Now I have to go don’t worry”

But there was something in Major Saab’s voice that did make him worry. What did he mean cell?

“Adi did Geet tell you where she has gone?”

“To her meeting with Ashokji I believe.”

Maan heaved a sigh of relief so she had been having him on, but by hook or crook tonight he was go to make her see sense.
